We have our very own AAA baseball team here in Colorado Springs... We came home from a very busy day last week, and was just getting settled in (about to get everyone in pajamas), and the phone rang saying that someone had four extra tickets to the Sky Sox game that night, and wanted to know if we wanted to go. I said yes, without really thinking too much about it. I was excited because I've never been to any kind of professional baseball game, and since there is a very slim chance that we might make it up to Denver to watch a Rockies game before we leave here, I thought I should take advantage of this opportunity... the tickets were free after all!! Wesley lasted until the 6th inning, but he just couldn't stay still any longer, and he was getting fussy... Here are some of the pictures from our night out.... Both boys were very interested in the Sky Sox mascot... the Fox... Price was scared, and Wesley loved him! Ron took Wesley down to see the fox, and he was very excited!

Back Home - Quick Update...
Wow... it's been awhile!! Sorry for those of you I couldn't communicate with in Arkansas... they do have computers there, but not where I was staying... sorry!! :) I did get A LOT of reading done while I was home, and it's a little weird to walk around and not have a book I need to finish!
I haven't loaded pictures on here yet, so you'll just have to wait for those. We weren't "chosen" for the adoption that we were hoping for. We were completely prepared by God for this answer, so it wasn't really that much of a shock for us. They gave us an explanation for their decision, and we're trying to accept that. We're just trying to follow God's will... even if we are finding out that His will is not what ours is at the moment. We're glad to be back home and can't wait for VBS to start tomorrow. Thanks for all the prayers, and we can't wait to see those of you we haven't seen in 6 weeks.

Randomness
The last few weeks have been a little bit crazy for us, and we're not done with the craziness yet... in fact, it might just be getting started. We're in the process of trying to adopt two little boys into our family. That is enough on the subject right now because I don't know if we're going to be "chosen" for them or not, so I'll talk more about that after we get a definite answer. Just wanted to let everyone know why we've been absent lately. Not because we aren't still taking pictures... I have a ton of them, but because we're just too busy to sit down and post any. So I'm going to try to fill everyone in on our week last week. These are in random order, but are from our trip to the zoo, our playday at the park, our last day of bible study (the children's program), and just random pictures of them. I'll try to post more, and was told by someone (Dee) that if I wanted people to read my blog and post comments, I should write about sex. I'm hoping that just putting the word in this post will spark interest!! More about adoption to come, as soon as we have news.

No Museum... but Randomness
Well... we didn't get to go to the Children's Museum like we had planned (get better soon Katie!) so here are just some random shots from the last few weeks/days... I can only load one picture at a time, which is why I haven't wanted to post... it's driving me crazy!!
Sooo... we got a new bird feeder, played outside (almost) naked, watched a squirrel climb a tree all the way to the sky, and enjoyed a car ride with "someone's" new idol... I mean best friend!! That pretty much sums up our life right now. We're counting down the days until we get to come home... see y'all soon!!

Playing, Playing, Playing
Last weekend, Ron and I took the boys to Chuck E. Cheese (we found a coupon), and they had fun playing...
Today we invited some kids over for a playdate. We had so much fun hosting our first playdate. We've never been to a playdate at anyone's house, only out somewhere, so this was really fun for us. The kids definitely had fun playing!
We've just been doing lots of playing, playing, playing!!

Mamas a Go Go Playgroup
We had our first little playgroup today, and we had a lot of fun. My boys were both wiped out when we got home. From oldest to youngest... here are the kids... Tyler (5), Price (4), Cole (3), Kendal (3), Jacob (3), Brady (2), Hannah (2), Kayden (1), Wesley (1). We bought a stroller for the smallest two, and just corralled the others. Four mamas were enough to handle this bunch!! We played at the play center, then went to Old Navy and Borders... we didn't lose anyone (for long), and they all played well together. We can't wait for the next one!!
I can only get blogger to download one picture at a time... so this is all you get!!

Nate and Gwyneth
I know I asked everyone to check out Nate's blog and read their story, but I thought I would post a picture that he had on his blog the other day. He entitled it "Perspective" It is his hand and baby Gwyneth's hand. Check him out here.

Getting Ready for Easter
I should have posted this before the last post, but I forgot to upload the pictures. We dyed the eggs, then let Wesley get on the counter and have some fun. Enjoy!!
Then Price posed, quite nicely I might add, for a picture of the projects we did at our playdate on Saturday. He made three different things... the Easter lilly from his hand print, the paper cross, and the doorhanger with Easter words on it. We had a really good time.
