Gymnastics

We started gymnastics a few weeks ago. Price loves it, and he is in a small class, so I feel like he gets a lot of attention. Wesley doesn't care one way or the other, but he was sleeping the other day while we were upstairs watching Price so I had to get his picture. Price was wearing a blue shirt, so you have to hunt to find him in the pictures. Ron's birthday is just a few days away and Memaw and Pappaw are coming up this weekend, so we are all pretty excited!!

Visitors!!

We were so happy to have visitors.... even though it was only for a little while. Randi had to be in Aspen for a few days, and when she was done, she, Kayla, and Ethan stopped by for a little while. We played in the house and outside, and then we went out to eat. Price still hasn't stopped talking about Ethan... he just loves having other kids over here.

Cripple Creek, Colorado

Oh the benefits of being an Air Force Chaplain. Ron had to say a few different prayers for a festival this past weekend. It was called Cripple Creek Salutes America's Armed Forces. As you look at the pictures, I know you can't see it, but EVERY one of the buildings in these pictures are casinos. I have never been to a place that was nothing but casinos. Our hotel (that was completely paid for!) had a casino in the bottom floor... and can I just say... it isn't illegal to smoke inside a casino!! Oh my gosh... it was so smoky. So... I know I'm supposed to be against gambling, and I totally am (unless you have a bagillion dollars!) BUT... we were right there, and so close, that I asked Ron if I could take a few dollars downstairs and play some slots. I have only been in a casino one time in my life, and Ron has some kind of theory that the only way to play is to keep your original money (my $3.00) in one pocket, and then everything that you win in another pocket, so even if you leave with $.12 you still left with whatever you won. So... and let me just clarify that he DOES NOT gamble... he didn't even go downstairs... but me... the weak one, just couldn't help myself. So... I took my little $3.00 downstairs, and 30 minutes later I was back in the room. Now I know, to learn a lesson about not gambling, I should have come back empty handed and sad... BUT.... I came back to the room with $45.00. I could not believe it. I was so scared that I was about to be addicted (I have that kind of personality)... I was more proud of myself for walking away than I was for winning.
The very next day, I saw an article on the computer about a man who sat down at the casino and his chair was wet because the woman who had been there before him had gone to the bathroom on the chair. Okay... that made me sick, and a little sad that I was contributing to places that promote that kind of behavior. The article went on to say that sometimes people will wear adult diapers when they go to the casinos so they won't have to get up out of their chairs. I find that horrifying, and I'm declaring right now that I will not be going to a casino anymore!

Okay... the pictures... my babies are just so cute, and Ron is on stage somewhere!! :) We miss everyone and we're ready for some visitors... please come see us!!! :)

Family Pictures

The wife of one of the Chaplain Assistants is also in the Air Force and she works for Public Affairs. She has been taking pictures for a while, and now she's trying to start doing "civilian" events such as weddings and things like that... well... sounded like the perfect chance for us to get pictures taken for not a lot of money! :) Anyway, she put them on disk for us, and they are fantastic. Here is a sampling (there are over 80 of them).

Aren't they just too cute!?

He's big now!

Today was the big day that Wesley grabbed the couch and stood up. He was, of course, trying to get to his brother! :) Price yelled... "look momma, Wesley is standing up... he's big now!" He was so proud of him, and demanded that I take a picture.... well... by the time I found the camera, he had fallen, but it was just a matter of time. I finally got a picture, but this time he was going after the remotes (his favorite "toy") After I saw these pictures I realized that he IS big.
