Can Everyone Ski??

I hope so because we are going to Colorado Springs, CO!!!!!! :)





We are so happy that we can hardly stand ourselves (I'm sure everyone else around here is in agreement.) I had myself convinced that maybe I didn't want to be that far away from home, and then when we got the news I was just so happy, and I still feel that way. I'm sure that in the next couple of weeks it will hit me and I'll be sad, but right now... I'm only praising God and feeling joy! :)





Mason Boyett Goodwin is home from the hospital and doing just great. Tonya is tired and sleeping a lot, but she is doing much better also. Isn't he just the cutest!?!

Zach is thrilled, even though he thought it was a girl before Mason was born, he's still very happy!!

Well... as soon as we find out all the information, we'll post more, just wanted to update everyone.

Mason

The baby is a little jaundice, but he is doing great! They will probably get to come home from the hospital tomorrow, and everyone is so ready to come home.
We heard from the Air Force today... BUT we still don't know where... they are saying that we should find out where we are going on Tuesday, but we'll see if that's right.

GREAT NEWS

Boyett and Tonya (my brother and sister-in-law) had a new baby boy tonight. Mason Boyett Goodwin was born around 6:15pm. He weighs 6lb 5oz, and is 19in long. His big brother, Zachery, is very excited. We are going over to the hospital tomorrow to see them both. Please pray for them with this excited news and big adjustment. I'll update more tomorrow after we see him.

Update

Well.. we've managed to drive our car for a few weeks now, and no wrecks yet!! YAY!! No new with our assignment yet... we are told that all of the paperwork has been done, and we are just waiting to find out where!!! We are very excited, but I'm also getting very tired of waiting. We went through books tonight, and this room looks kind of sad with empty book shelves :(
Momma and I went to Tonya's shower today (my sister-in-law)... she is due June 4th, and they won't find out what they are having. So, I think everyone who brought them presents just picked what they thought they would have. Everything was pink!! I sure hope it is a girl, or Tonya won't have any clothes for him and she will have to do a lot of exchanging. Our family needs a little girl... we are being smothered in testosterone... Mother's Day is tomorrow, and I'm taking the boys and going over to Momma's church for breakfast, then Ron will meet us there after church... I'm excited about it, because I love spending time hanging out with Momma... she's what I will probably miss the most after we leave, but I have already figured out about what time we will come visit. Just after her birthday every year! :) That will be good. Guess that's all for the update... so... let's review... we STILL don't know anything yet!! :)

Jacob and Eeyore

First of all... we got our car back today!!! Yay!!!!

Okay.. last night we were ready Price's bible story to him, and we were asking him if he remembered the story from the night before. Ron showed him the picture and said this is Jacob and who? Price just looked at the page, so Ron and I try to help him remember by saying EEEEE... he smiles up at us and says, EEYORE! We couldn't help but laugh. I'm sure God probably thought that was funny also. We had him practice saying Esau and few times, and tonight, when we quizzed him, he said Esau and Jacob... do I have a smart kid or what???
