Playin in the Sand

While we were at Meme's house (and when the geese weren't chasing me), Wesley and Price found a small spot of sand, and got VERY dirty every night... the bathtub water was so dirty you couldn't see through it at all.

Two things about these pictures...

#1 Wesley's hair gets curly when we go to AR.

#2 Wesley's body has sand stuck all over it... can you see it!?!?

We cut his hair before we came back to CO... those pictures are next!!

Push-up Party

Mason turned 1 year old while we were visiting... he also LOVES push-ups... everytime anyone got a push-up, we had to get an extra for Mason... Memaw helped him eat this one, and he was too cute not to take any pictures!!

Doesn't he look satisfied? He wasn't.... he was just getting started!

Light Vs. Dark

My best friend, Mandy, came over to Momma's house with her two boys and her mother (Mrs. Linda... aka my basketball coach from 3rd grade until I graduated high school) We took pictures of them, and laughed at how light my boys are and how dark hers are. They are black hair and tan skin, and mine couldn't be any whiter and they have blonde hair. Her boys are both almost exactly nine months older than my boys. Which means that for some reason, I can't get pregnant until she has a baby. It might be bad for us that she is finished having kids, and we aren't!! I tried to change her mind in that decision because we both need to have a girl next, but she couldn't be swayed!! Soooo... guess we're on our own! Here are the boys!

Dylan is oldest June 2003

Price is next March 2004
Rhett is 3rd... April 2006Then Wesley is November 2006They had a lot of fun blowing bubbles... here is Mandy helping Rhett, and Price and Dylan being big boys and blowing bubbles by themselves..Price felt it necessary to show Dylan how to play Spider-man on the Wii... Dylan didn't want to stop to eat! I'm pretty sure he wants one now, but his parents don't even have a computer, so I'm pretty sure a Wii is a long time away from him... isn't he just deprived!?!
This is where we forced the boys to pose together... can you tell how happy Mandy's boys were?? Mine have cameras in their faces all the time, and they like it!! :) So they smiled for us!

We try to get together at least once a year... it's a little harder since she lives in Arkansas, and we don't, but we made it work this year, and hopefully next year we can make it work too...

More happenings in AR

Price could talk about no one but RJ for weeks before we went to AR... he couldn't wait for the school bus to bring RJ to Meme's house. They played all the time (I'm sure RJ wasn't quite as happy as Price was!... well.. maybe he was)...
Wesley didn't have a sword to fight with, but he ran around and yelled like he knew what he was doing.

Wesley was afraid to walk on the bridge because the first few boards are a little further apart than the rest, and you can see the water between the boards... he would completely stop and walk as slowly as he could all the way across the bridge... it was funny!!
This is the best climbing tree in the world, apparently... Price was in it every time we went to Meme's house. He had so much fun... and everyone takes good pictures in that tree.. something about the lighting I guess!

What Happens in Arkansas... (Part 2)

Our first day, we went to Meme and Pawpaw's house. We went with them to the nursing home in Monticello to see Ma Shaw and Pappaw Clyde (she was in the nursing home for some re-hab on her shoulder)... the boys were worn out, but had fun seeing everyone.

Wesley and Meme... Price and Pawpaw...
Price with Ma Shaw and Pappaw Clyde...
Wesley and Pappaw Clyde... he really needed a hair cut, which he finally got right before we came home (pictures coming soon)...

We saw this when we got to Memaw Ethyl's house (where we stayed while we were home)... there were three total, but I couldn't ever get a picture of them... this is the best picture I took!

What happens in Arkansas....

We video-taped more than we took pictures while we were home, but here are some of the pictures from our visit... I can't believe we've been back home almost 3 weeks already. We had a great time, and really miss everyone down there. We'll be back in December for Carly and Haley's birthday...

This was the first time Price and Wesley saw Mason... it was at Zach's baseball practice.. we surprised them and stopped by.

It was Boyett's birthday... WOW he's old!! 37!! But I love him anyway... leopard bikini briefs and all!! We went to eat with them at Fiesta Linda's (great Mexican food!!) and since Zach told them about fifteen times that it was Boyett's birthday... they brought him dessert and put this VERY stylish hat on his head...
Tonya was not the least bit embarrassed!!
The first Sunday that we were home, we went to FBC in Crossett to see Mason's dedication... Don't they look like the cutest little family!?! Just precious!

I have more pictures from our trip... it just takes my computer forever to load them... so I'll add more tomorrow...
